Health benefits of swimming
Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.
Swimming is a good all-round activity because it:
Any kind of physical activity can have a huge positive effect on mental health and well being, but swimming is particularly effective on improving cognitive function in children and adults.
Swimming for just 30min three to four times a week can lower stress levels, raise mood, lower incidences of depression and anxiety and improve sleep patterns and general well being. Swimming is one of the only exercise that is low impact and works nearly every muscle group in your body.
We at little fishes have decided for all children under 3 years of age that a free trial lesson will not be given, due to the fact that a Happy Nappy has to be purchased to enter our pool. The reason we have made this decision is that some new enrolments do not understand that it’s a health and hygiene requirement of entering the pool this is more so to protect other swimmer’s and teacher in the pool from contamination. However, we will still offer your first lesson free once you have signed and registered by paying our $25 enrolment fee which includes the Happy Nappy in the Enrolment fee and welcome pack. We at little fishes have always prided myself on our customers come first philosophy and understand sometimes finances can be stretched so to help our customer we have adapted the above policy from now on. We value all our customers and want them to have the best experience possible at little fishes. Thank you for being with us and we cannot wait to teach your little babies.
